NT Police are searching for two low security prisoners who walked out of the unfenced Barkly Work Camp last night.

Superintendent Danny Bacon said NT Corrections staff reported six prisoners missing at the facility just outside Tennant Creek.

“The prisoners went missing some time after 9pm however four of them have returned to the Barkly Work Camp,” Superintendent Bacon said.

“Prisoners still at large are Patrick Camphoo and Andrew Secchin. They are not considered a threat to the community but anyone with information on the whereabouts of these prisoners are asked to contact Police on 131 444 of Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
