Police are seeking public assistance in relation to a robbery that occurred in Malak earlier this morning.

Detective Acting Sergeant Jak Evans from the Serious Crime Squad said the robbery occurred in the vicinity of Gribbon Place, Malak, near the shops, at around 8am.

“Police wish to speak to anyone who may have sighted an approx. 25 year-old man in the vicinity of Gribbon Place, Malak, who was last seen walking towards Karama.

“The offender is described as being between 170 – 180cm tall with medium length curly hair (short dread lock style) and brown skin, possibly indigenous.

“Police urge any persons who may recognise this man or anyone with further information to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
