Northern Territory Police have summonsed a 52-year-old Police Officer with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol after he returned a mid-range reading.

The Police Officer has been suspended from duty and will appear in the Darwin Court of Summary Jurisdiction on 11 December 2014.

As the matter is currently before the court, NT Police will not be providing any further information.
