Northern Territory Police have today arrested a 41-year-old Aboriginal Community Police Officer for an alleged assault offence. The Officer has been suspended from duty and will appear in the Nhulunbuy Magistrates Court on 5 November 2014.

As this matter is currently before court, no further information will be released.
