A 48-year-old Police Auxiliary Officer has been arrested and charged this evening following an investigation into an allegation of sexual assault.
The man has been charged with one count of sexual intercourse without consent.
He has been suspended from duty without pay and has been bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on the 5th of February.
