A 32-year-old man will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court charged with possession of a schedule one drug

Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Schiller said members from the Drug and Organised Crime squad executed a search warrant at a residence in Karama on 10 January.

“Police will allege they found a small quantity of methamphetamine, clip seal bags, plastic containers and around $8000 in cash inside the house.

“The man was arrested and charged with possess schedule one drug and possess tainted property.”

He was remanded in custody to appear in court today.
