Detective Sergeant Bland said the female has also been charged with driving with a disqualified interstate licence and driving under the influence of a dangerous drug.

“Police are deeply concerned by the damage caused by these drugs in our society and appalled by the actions of this driver.

“By operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs she has put every other road user at risk and I am relieved the Officers on duty were able to take her off the road before any innocent lives were lost.”
