Detectives from the Sex Crimes Unit have apprehended a 36-year-old man in relation to an unlawful entry and gross indecency which occurred at a Stuart Park residence on 17 February.

The man is in custody and assisting Police with their enquiries.

Detective Senior Sergeant Bradley Currie said it is alleged an offender entered a residence on Henry Street at around 10pm last Monday.

“Sex Crime Detectives continue to investigate a number of incidents that have occurred in the Stuart Park area over the past week and Police believe this man may be able to assist with these enquiries.

“Police continue to urge anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the Stuart Park area from the 17-24 February to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000,” he said.
