Police have a 19-year-old male in custody in relation to the alleged abduction and assault of a female in Stuart Park.

The alleged offender will be interviewed later this afternoon by Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad.

Police continue to encourage anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area or anyone who may have further information to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
