Northern Territory Police have charged a 40-year-old man in relation to a number of alleged aggravated assaults and an armed robbery.

He has been charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of intention to cause serious harm and one count of armed robbery.

He will appear in Darwin magistrates court today.
