Four arrested on methamphetamine charges - Darwin

Drug and Organised Crime Squad Detectives have arrested three men in a Darwin City car park after 11 grams of methamphetamine was allegedly discovered in their possession.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Malogorski said a fourth man was arrested later at the Darwin Airport.

“Police will allege the four men were engaged in the supply of methamphetamine in Darwin.

“Their vehicle and $26,900 in cash was also seized.”

Detective Senior Sergeant Malogorski said all four men were charged yesterday with possess and supply a trafficable quantity of a schedule one drug and possess tainted property.

“Police will continue to adopt a zero-tolerance approach to the sale and supply of methamphetamine in the Northern Territory.

“We ask anyone with information on the sale or supply of drugs to please contact Police on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”

The men, aged 19, 24, 26 and 29 will appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court today.
