Serious Crime Squad Detectives have charged a 38-year-old man in relation to a firearm incident that occurred in Virginia yesterday afternoon.

The incident resulted in a firearm being discharged into an occupied vehicle following a domestic dispute.

The man has been charged with;

• recklessly endanger life;
• aggravated assault;
• discharge a firearm to endanger; and other offences.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
