The Northern Territory road toll has risen to 29 following the death of an 18-year-old female this afternoon.

Territory Duty Superintendent Delcene Jones said Police responded to reports of a single vehicle rollover approximately 20km’s from Jabiru at around 4pm this afternoon.

“Four other occupants were in the vehicle at the time of the crash and are being treated for a range of injuries.

“Investigations into the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.”

The road toll for the same time last year was 25.
