Major Crash Investigators are currently at the scene of a fatal car crash which occurred in Parap this afternoon.

Senior Sergeant John Worrall said it is believed three cars collided at the intersection of the Stuart Highway and Woolner Road at around 2:20pm.

“Police, Fire and Rescue and St John Ambulance members attended the scene, however the male victim was declared deceased.

“The Stuart Highway is currently completely blocked at the location and will remain so for some time.

“Diversions are in place and people are being urged to avoid the area by travelling down Gilruth Avenue/East Point Road and Tiger Brennan Drive.”
