Detectives from Strike Force Trident have arrested a 39-year-old man wanted in Queensland for numerous serious violence offences.

Detective Sergeant Michael Budge said the man came to Police attention yesterday whilst officers were recovering stolen motorcycles at an address in Moulden.

“The man was located in the company of other OMCG associates and was found to have six outstanding interstate warrants for his arrest.

“He is to be extradited to Queensland to face court for serious violence offences.”

It is expected that Detectives from Northern Brisbane Investigations will travel to Darwin on Monday 24th of November 2014 to complete the extradition.
