Police have seized an array of drugs following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Woodroffe yesterday.

Detective A/Superintendent Clint Sims said members from the Drug and Organised Crime Division were involved in the raid.

“Police located a hydroponic grow room containing two maturing cannabis plants, MDMA (ecstasy) tablets, LSD tablets and a home made taser.

“A 28-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were arrested and charged with a range of offences including possess dangerous drug, cultivate dangerous drug and possess prohibited weapon, trafficable quantity of cannabis and supply cannabis.”

Both men have been bailed to appear at the Darwin Magistrates Court on 14 April 2014.

“Police will continue to target the people in possession of these illicit substances,” Detective A/Superintendent Sims said.
