A 25-year-old male will be appearing in Darwin Magistrates Court today charged with drug offences following a search warrant at a Winnellie shed yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Martin Ramage from the Drug and Organised Crime Squad said Police were called to the premises yesterday morning following a domestic disturbance in Herbert on Saturday night.
“On search of the property Police located a variety of drugs including 46 grams of Methamphetamine, 8 x MDMA pills, 5 x vials of testosterone.
“Ammunition and fireworks were also seized.”
The offender was charged with:
- Supply methamphetamine
- Possess MDMA – trafficable quantity
- Possess testosterone – trafficable quantity
- Possess thing to administer dangerous drug
- Possess ammunition without licence
- Possess fireworks outside the approved period
He remains in police custody at this time and is due to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court this afternoon.
