Northern Territory Police from the Drug and Organised Crime Squad have seized a commercial quantity of MDMA and cash during a search warrant in Pinelands on Friday evening, November 28.

Superintendent Tony Fuller said Members from the Territory Response Group executed the warrant.

“Three men aged 30, 34 and 34 were taken into custody after Police allege they discovered 98 MDMA pills and $9,600 cash during the search.”

Superintendent Fuller said investigations into the supply of illegal drugs into Darwin were ongoing and Police would continue to target people engaging in this criminal behaviour.

“It is expected charges will be laid at a later date and more arrests in relation to this incident are highly likely.

“We urge anyone with information on the sale or supply of illegal substances to contact Police on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
