Northern Territory Police have charged four males with attempt unlawful entry, conspiracy to steal, unlawfully possess property and possess breaking implements following their arrest near Coolalinga.

Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Day said the men, aged 31, 33, 37 and 41, were arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning.

“Police conducted an operation targeting these individuals following information from Queensland, New South Wales, Victorian and South Australian Detectives.

“Police will allege the men were responsible for a crime spree across the four states and believe they are implicated in the theft of cash from approximately 65 automatic teller machines.

“The men, all European nationals, will face the Darwin Magistrates Court today,” Detective Senior Sergeant Day said.
