A man is in custody following a crash that occurred in Wulagi earlier this morning.

Duty Superintendent John Emeny said Police were called to the crash on the corner of Union Terrace and Wulagi Road at 7:20 am.

“It is believed a 45-year-old man has crashed his vehicle into a motorbike.

“The driver of the vehicle was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital and is in custody on traffic offences.

The driver of the motorbike has left the scene and Police urge anyone who may have information to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000,” he said.

Enquiries are continuing. 

Both Roads have been reopened.
