A 23-year-old man has appeared in Cairns Magistrates Court today in relation to the death of a 68-year-old male, who died as a result of an assault that took place in Mitchell Street, Darwin City, on Saturday 9 August.

The man has been ordered to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on 23 September to face the charge of manslaughter.
