Northern Territory Police are concerned for the welfare of 23-year-old Kelly Cleary who has not been heard from since Friday afternoon.

Kelly was in the rural area when she phoned her mother and said she was on her way down to Darwin River to see her.

Kelly’s family have not seen her and have been unsuccessful in their attempts to contact her over the weekend.

Police ask anyone who may have seen Kelly on Friday or during the weekend, or have information on her current whereabouts to please contact the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.

Kelly may be driving a burgundy coloured Holden Cruze.
