Three males aged 25, 36 and 49 will appear in Alice Springs Court today in relation to an alleged unlawful entry in Alice Springs last night.

Senior Constable First Class Richard Osborne said the alleged offenders were seen by CCTV operators who alerted Alice Springs Police.

“General Duties Police attended the scene and were directed by CCTV operators to the location of the alleged offenders.

“As a result of this co-operation between CCTV operators and attending members, three offenders were arrested and all stolen property recovered.

“This incident highlights the effectiveness of CCTV cameras within the Alice Springs CBD and the vigilance of operators monitoring these cameras,” Senior Constable First Class Richard Osborne said.

The three men were charged with:
Unlawful entry
Damage to Property
Stealing

They were remanded to appear in Alice Springs Court today.
