Police have seized half a kilogram of cannabis following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Moulden.

Superintendent Clint Sims said members from the Drugs and Organised Crime Division conducted the search on Tuesday and seized 588 grams of cannabis.

“Police estimate that if the cannabis was sold it would have fetched around $25,000.

“A 42-year-old male was arrested and charged with possess a commercial quantity of cannabis and supply a commercial quantity of cannabis.”

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 10 June.

“Police will continue to target the people dealing in these illicit substances,” Superintendent Sims said.
