Police have seized more than $6,000 worth of cannabis following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Gray.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said members from Strike Force Trident and members from the Dog Operations Unit were involved in the operation last Friday.

“Police located and sized 227 grams of cannabis and over $3,000 in cash.

“A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with possess trafficable quantity of cannabis and supply cannabis.”

He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.

A 24-year-old man was also issued a Drug Infringement Notice.

“Police will continue to target the people dealing in these illicit substances,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said.
