Call for Witnesses - Armed Robbery - Nightcliff

Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an armed robbery at a business on Progress Drive in Nightcliff last night.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer from Strike Force Trident said Police received reports of a robbery at around 10:30pm at a massage parlour in Nightcliff Shopping Centre.

“It is alleged a man wearing a black balaclava entered the establishment holding a knife,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said.

“The man stole a small safe, which contained no cash and left the scene.

“Police attended however were unable to locate the offender who is described as having dark skin, approximately 177cm tall with a solid/slightly chubby build.

“At the time of the incident he was wearing a white or grey t-shirt with a pattern on the front and dark shorts.”
