Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was located in bushland in Wauchope, approximately 100km South of Tennant Creek.

Police were alerted to the woman’s death around 8am this morning.

She is yet to be formally identified.

Police have established a crime scene and are calling for anyone who was in the area this afternoon to come forward. Anyone with information should phone 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
