Assault - Update - Darwin

Police

Major Crime Detectives have charged a further two men following an alleged abduction and assault in Darwin last week.

Detective Sergeant Isobel Cummins said the two men aged 41 and 31 were both linked to the alleged abduction of a 28-year-old man from a residence in Woolner on 22 October.

Police arrested both males at an address in Wagaman on Tuesday.

The 41-year-old has been charged with:
Deprivation of liberty
Unlawfully cause serious harm
Unlawful entry of dwelling
Stealing

He has been remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.

The 31-year-old has been charged with:
Unlawful use of motor vehicle

He has been bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 20 November.
