Following the alleged assault of a 68-year-old man in Darwin City on Saturday morning and subsequent calls for public assistance, Crime Detectives have now identified all people from the supplied CCTV video and still images.

Detective Sergeant Isobel Cummins from the Major Crime Squad said Detectives are now working with these people to establish the facts of the incident.                                              

“Police would like to thank the members of the public who came forward with information following the release of these images.

“Police would also like to thank members of the public who provided first aid to the 68-year-old man on Saturday morning.

“Two males are assisting Police with their enquiries however at this stage no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing. 

“Police would still like to hear from anyone who may have any further information in relation to this incident to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
