Seven new Aboriginal Community Police Officers graduated this afternoon after 17 weeks of intensive training that commenced in July 2014.
Each graduating ACPO was presented with a Certificate II in Public Safety (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Policing) and welcomed to the NT Police Force by the Acting Deputy Commissioner, Reece Kershaw.
The ACPOs undertook training in Defensive Tactics, Driver Training, Legislation and Policy and Procedure.
