Youths Arrested - Alice Springs

Alice Springs Police have arrested two14-year-old males in relation to the criminal damage of a CCTV camera and several motor vehicles in the Todd Street Mall.

Watch Commander, Senior Sergeant Siiri Tennosaar said CCTV operators observed two youths use a water pistol to spray paint a CCTV camera at around 11.15 am today.

“The offenders have also allegedly sprayed paint on at least eight vehicles outside the Alice Plaza.

“Two youths were arrested by Police a short time later. One youth has been released from custody to be considered for the Youth Diversion program and the other remains in custody to be interviewed later today.”
