Northern Territory Police have confirmed the fuselage of an aircraft found earlier this week is from a crash that occurred on 01 April this year, claiming the lives of four people.

The wreckage of the Cessna 210 was spotted by a Pilot who reported the find to Police.

NT Police have no plans to recover the wreckage.

The incident remains subject to a Police investigation on behalf of the Coroner.
