Police are calling on witnesses in relation to two suspicious vehicle fires which occurred in Alice Springs late last month.

Detective Constable Daniel Ralph from Southern Investigations Division said the fires occurred at the rear of an office block on Bath Street around 5am on Sunday 29 September.

“Security guards attended the scene following an alarm activation and located the vehicles fully alight,” Detective Constable Ralph said.

“The Toyota Prado and Nissan Micra were completely destroyed by the fire.

“Police have released an image of a possible witness we believe may be able to assist with the investigation.

“Police urge this man, or anyone else who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
