Members from the Tennant Creek Investigation Unit are investigating an unlawful entry and stealing incident at the Goldfields Hotel.

Detective Acting Sergeant Damien Barbe said an unknown male has unlawfully entered the bar area of the hotel and stolen a carton of beer and a large sum of money at around 4am, 21 April.

“The offender is described as slim build, wearing black jeans, a green long sleeve undershirt with a camouflage shirt over the top.

“Police urge anyone who saw anything suspicious or who may have any information in relation to this incident to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
