A 24-year-old man will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court today in relation to the unlawful entry of a licensed premises in Alice Springs CBD.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said the offender allegedly unlawfully entered the venue at around 1:30am and then again at 4:50am yesterday and stole an assortment of alcohol.

“Police located the alleged offender after reviewing CCTV footage from inside the venue.”

He was arrested and charged with a number of property offences including:

Unlawful entry (x2)

Damage to property (x2)

Stealing (x2)

Assault Police

Breach of bail

Resist arrest

Disorderly in a Police station.
