Unlawful Entries - Arrests - Katherine

Katherine Police have made three arrests in relation to two separate unlawful entries in Katherine early this morning.

Superintendent Gavin Kennedy said two males aged 17 and 38 unlawfully entered the Katherine Hotel at around 1:50am and were arrested a short time later after Police reviewed CCTV footage.

“Both have been charged with aggravated enter building intent to commit offence,” Superintendent Kennedy said.

The youth will appear in the Katherine Youth Justice Court on 4 April 2013 and the 38-year-old will appear before the Katherine Magistrates Court following bail considerations.

“In a separate incident a 24-year-old man was arrested after he unlawfully entered the Katherine Country Club at around 4:45am.

“Police made the arrest after reviewing CCTV footage of the offender unlawfully entering the premises.”

He was charged with entering a building with intent and was remanded in custody.
