Strike Force Trident has arrested a 16-year-old female in relation to a $60,000 crime spree in Darwin earlier this month.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said it is alleged the offender also stole around $18,000 worth of jewellery, alcohol and a Hyundai from two residences in Wagaman between the 6 and 7 of May.

“This is a great result. We will not tolerate these young criminals running around at night stealing and damaging people’s hard earned property. Trident will continue to hunt these offenders down and lock them up.”

She has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle (x5), stealing (x5), aggravated enter dwelling with intent to commit offence (x3) and damage to property (x2).
