Members of the Territory Response Group have arrested a man wanted for robbery and parole revocation in South Australia.

At approximately 1:30pm this afternoon, TRG members took the 23-year-old man into custody without incident.

Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Board said, "A cross border operation between detectives from the Serious Crime Squad and South Australia traced the man to an address in Palmerston this morning."

"At no time were any of the public at risk and the arrest was another success for the NT Police.

"Interstate offenders mistakenly believe they can hide in the Territory to evade law enforcement.”

South Australian detectives will arrive over the weekend to commence extradition proceedings to return the man to South Australia.
