Detectives from the Southern Investigation Division have taken a 27- year-old-man into custody following the death of a 25-year-old woman at Larapinta Valley Camp overnight.

Acting Commander Crime and Specialist Support Command James O’Brien said the incident had now been handed over to the Major Crime Squad.

“Major Crime Squad Detectives from Darwin have flown to Alice Springs today to assist with the investigation."
