Katherine Detectives, Major Crime and forensic Officers are at the scene of a suspicious death near the community of Kalkarindji

Detective Senior Sergeant Clint Sims, OIC of the Northern Investigations Section, said Police were alerted to a body on the side of the Buntine Highway, approximately 2 kilometres west of the town, at about 7.30am this morning.

“Police are investigating the death of a 27 year-old woman and ask anyone who may have information to please contact them on the Police Assistance Line, 131 444 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 444.”
