Detectives from Strike Force Vega have charged a 21-year-old man in relation to an alleged unlawful entry and indecent assault in Alice Springs on Sunday.

Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Malley said the offender allegedly unlawfully entered the residence and indecently assaulted a woman.

He was arrested yesterday and charged with:

Unlawful entry

Trespass enclosed premises

Damage to property

Stealing

Indecent assault.

“In an unrelated incident Detectives have arrested a third male youth following a series of unlawful entries in Alice Springs last week.

“The 15-year-old allegedly unlawfully entered four residences in Braitling on 11 November and stole electronic devices, car keys, Avanti bicycles, alcohol and jewellery.”

The youth has been charged with:

Unlawful entry (x4)

Stealing (x4)

Damage to property (x3)

Interfere with motor vehicle.

Both males will appear in Alice Springs Court today.
