Members from the Northern Investigation Section have charged a 34-year-old man in relation to an unlawful entry and stealing incident at a bank in Katherine last week.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Ian Kennon said Detectives in Katherine arrested the alleged offender on Friday afternoon stained with red dye and still wearing clothing depicted in the CCTV image.

“Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying the offender.

“He has been charged with unlawful entry (x2) and stealing and will appear in Katherine Magistrates Court on 27 June.”
