A 40-year-old man will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court today for allegedly stabbing a 46-year-old man.
Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said Police received a report that a man had been stabbed at a residence in Sadadeen at around 10:30pm 6 April.
“Police allege the offender stabbed the man approximately 13 times to the chest, back and neck with a kitchen knife. He was taken to Alice Springs Hospital and remains in a critical but stable condition.”
The 40-year-old has been charged with intend cause serious harm.
