A 22-year-old man has been charged with causing serious harm in relation to an altercation which occurred in Hayes Court, Durack on Sunday 3 November.

Detective Sergeant Karl Day of the Serious Crime Squad said an altercation occurred in Hayes Court at around 2:30am Sunday.

“As a result, the 47-year-old male victim suffered head injuries and was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital,” Detective Sergeant Day said.

The man was charged with unlawfully cause serious harm. He was bailed and will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court at a later date.
