Strike Force Trident Detectives have charged a second man in relation to the robbery of 31-year-old man in Palmerston last week.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said Detectives located the 23-year-old alleged offender at a residence in Winnellie on Saturday morning.

“Police alleged the offender was just about to head to the airport to travel interstate. Our enquiries indicate he was planning to flee the jurisdiction.

“The 23-year-old was charged with robbery and remanded in custody. He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.”
