Two males aged 18 and 16 will appear in court today in relation to a series of ram raids in Alice Springs this month.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said the two alleged offenders were arrested in Whyalla on Wednesday 17 July. The pair were extradited to Alice Springs and charged.

The 18-year-old will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court charged with:

Stealing (x7)

Damage to property (x7)

Unlawful entry (x5)

Unlawful use of a motor vehicle (x3)

Aggravated assault (x3)

Deprive person of liberty

Recklessly endanger serious harm.

The 16-year-old will appear in Alice Springs Youth Justice Court charged with:

Stealing (x7)

Damage to property (x7)

Unlawful entry (x5)

Unlawful use of a motor vehicle (x3).
