The Northern Territory Police Force has terminated the employment of a 35-year-old Police Officer following an internal investigation by the Professional Standards Command.

“The investigation commenced following allegations that the Officer had accessed and released official information,” said Assistant Commissioner Mark Payne.

This information is provided in accordance with the Northern Territory Police transparency guidelines and no further information will be provided including details that may lead to the identification of the Officer.
