Missing Girl - Palmerston

Police

Police continue to search for missing 11-year-old girl, Justine Hunter, who hasn’t been seen since she left her residence in Palmerston last month.

Sergeant Rob James said Justine left her home in Durack on Saturday 27 July and has not made contact with her friends or family since.

“Justine is described to be of Aboriginal appearance, slim build and approximately 135cm tall. She has brown hair, which she wears in a pony tail, and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, faded black leggings and thongs.

“Justine has connections in Nightcliff, Casuarina and nearby northern suburbs of Darwin. Police have searched these known locations, however she remains outstanding.

“We want to get the message out that she’s not in trouble. We are just concerned for her welfare and urge anyone who may have seen her, to contact Police on 131 444.”
