Police have located a 12-year-old boy who went missing from his Moil home yesterday.

Superintendent Dean Moloney of the Territory Response Division said the boy left his home on his bicycle at around 4pm and was found safe and well in the Litchfield area at around 9:25am today.

 “A number of Police Officers were involved in the search in both marked and unmarked Police vehicles. Territory Response Group members also utilised a helicopter and located the boy, on Litchfield Park Road, during an aerial search.

“This was a great result for everyone involved and I would like to thank all of the Officers who took part in the search, as well as the members of the public who were calling in with vital information.”
