Two men have been arrested in relation to a brutal attack on a 15-year-old boy in Karama over the weekend.

Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad took the two men, both aged 18, into custody earlier today.

Detective Acting Superintendent Chris Board said Detectives had taken a number of statements and had received invaluable assistance from the public.

“That we have been able to apprehend these offenders in such a timely manner is a great result for the victims and their families.

“The brutality of this attack and the seriousness of the injuries inflicted on this young lad is sickening, and we are happy to have secured the arrest of these offenders.

Both males are expected to be charged later tonight.
